Mica Clay Cookware
Mica Clay Cookware is hand-built using the ancient Jicarilla Apache Coil and Scrape method. New Mexico clay with naturally-occurring mica are the only components that make up this unique cookware. No potter's wheel or glazes are used. You can cook with these pots on the stovetop, and in the oven or microwave.
The clay enhances flavor by imparting earthy, sweet and slight salt flavors. As well, these pots make great serving ware, as mica is one of nature's best insulators.
